Your Annual Membership Helps Fund Programs Like These:
School Chemical Cleanout Program
Designed to assist schools across the state, this program ensures the safe removal and disposal of hazardous materials. With over 240 schools serviced to date, we have removed over 40,000 lbs. of material.
Household Hazardous Waste Program
Providing a safe and convenient disposal solution for residents’ household chemicals and hazardous waste items, we prevented nearly 87,000 pounds of toxic waste from contaminating our environment last year.
Materials Exchange Program
Connecting people and businesses, this program reduces waste and fosters community by matching unwanted, usable items with those in need. In 2022, we diverted over 6.5 million pounds of materials from landfills.
Used Oil Program
Our efforts resulted in the collection and recycling of approximately 67,000 gallons of used oil from Nebraskans and local businesses.
